Below are only some typical FAQs, and by no mean covers everything comprehensively. Ordering

How can I place an order?

You can easily place an order on our website by browsing our product catalog, selecting the items you want, and adding them to your cart. Then, proceed to checkout, where you can provide your shipping and payment information to complete the order.

How are payments handled?

At Otomok Sabers, all transactions are handled in US Dollars and Vietnamese Dongs.

We receive payments via PayPal (for international and Vietnamese orders) and direct bank transfer (for Vietnamese orders ONLY).

How are shipping fees calculated?

Our website automatically calculates shipping fees based on the volumetric weight of the items in your shopping cart and the delivery address you provided. These fees are then included in the final billing amount of your order.

Typically, ordering multiple items in a single order results in lower shipping fees compared to placing several separate orders for single items.

How soon will my order be ready?

The lead time for your order depends on the items purchased.

If multiple items are ordered, they will be consolidated into a single shipment, and the lead time will be based on the item with the longest lead time. A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped.

How can I check the current status update for my order?

Our system does not provide real-time tracking or updates while your order is in production. However, once your order is ready for shipment, it will be marked as "Fulfilled". If you need to check the current status of your order at any time, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team.

Do you accept order cancellations?

Otomok Sabers orders marked as "Unfulfilled" can be canceled, but there will be a USD 25 administrative charge, AND the PayPal transaction fee is non-refundable.

For accessories-only orders, there is no administrative charge; However, deduction of PayPal transaction fees will still apply.

Shipping

Who are your delivery partners and how long is shipping?

Otomok Sabers currently offers only Express Shipping. Our delivery partners, DHL Express and FedEx, are automatically selected based on your delivery location. Shipping typically takes 15 - 20 working days, EXCLUDING any delays caused by local customs clearance.

Can you deliver to a post office box?

Our shipping partners unfortunately are NOT able to deliver shipments to a post office box. This includes APO, FPO, and DPO. Shipments can only be delivered directly to the receiver's shipping address and a signature of receipt is required.

How do I track the shipment of my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification along with a tracking number. You can then track the shipment end-to-end via the DHL Express or FedEx tracking website.

How are local import duties & taxes handled?

Important Note: Value added taxes (sometimes referred to as Goods and Services Tax in some jurisdictions) are SEPARATE from local import duties, which are sometimes referred to as import taxes.

All import duties and taxes (if applicable) are the responsibility of the recipient. If the shipment is held by customs, DHL Express or FedEx will notify the recipient. Full payment of any duties or taxes imposed will be required before the shipment can be released.

Does my shipment have insurance?

All shipments are fully insured with the same value as shown in the order’s invoice.

Lightsabers

What is a saber configuration?

A saber configuration refers to the specific electronic setup within a custom saber. Currently, we provide three configurations: RGB/Baselit, Xenopixel V3, and Proffie.

Proffie Saber: This configuration is powered by the ProffieBoard v2.2 soundboard. Known for its immense customization potential, the ProffieBoard v2.2 is an open-source solution that allows extensive programming for personalized features and effects.

Xenopixel v3: The Xenopixel v3 configuration is an advanced option for custom sabers. It combines high performance with enhanced customization capabilities. Xenopixel v3 offers a rich array of sound fonts and lighting effects, providing a dynamic and immersive saber experience. This configuration is designed to be user-friendly while still allowing for detailed personalization, making it an excellent choice for enthusiasts who want both versatility and ease of use.

RGB/Baselit Saber: The RGB/Baselit configuration features an RGB LED within the blade, providing bright and vibrant colors. This setup offers a straightforward, user-friendly experience with multiple color options and basic sound effects. It is an ideal choice for those who want a visually striking saber without the need for extensive programming or customization.

What materials are used for the saber?

The hilt of our sabers is crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring both durability and a lightweight feel. The blade is made from polycarbonate, a material renowned for its high impact resistance, making it ideal for intense dueling.

WARRANTY POLICY

Returns

All Otomok Sabers has a limited warranty which covers any failures or damages caused by workmanship or manufacturing defects, for a period of 1 year from the order completion date.

Reservation/Disclaimer: This warranty does NOT cover any failures or damages due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper handling, modifications, or normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, dueling).1 On a case-by-case basis, failures and damages not covered by our Warranty Policy may be eligible for our repair services, at your own costs. Please contact us for more information.

Improper maintenance or attempted repair by any party other than Otomok Sabers or its designated representatives will immediately and irrevocably void this warranty. Should you ever encounter an issue with your saber, please reach out to us via email, Facebook Messenger or Instagram direct messages.

If your saber qualifies for a warranty claim, we will send you instructions for shipment of the Lightsaber to us. Warranty claims are always given the highest priority. This Otomok Sabers limited warranty is NOT transferable.

Post-Payment Changes

Changing your order is possible, provided it hasn't been marked as "Fulfilled." If you wish to make adjustments, please keep in mind that our production system requires us to generate new work orders for any changes. This means your order will be moved to the back of the build queue, which may result in a longer completion time.
